Regular Season Round 20: MOSiR Krosno - Znicz Basket 77-47

Very expected game when 11th ranked Znicz Basket (4-16) was crushed on the road by third ranked MOSiR Krosno (15-5) 77-47 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by MOSiR Krosno. Znicz Basket was better in third quarter 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Znicz Basket 38-27 including 27 on the defensive glass. MOSiR Krosno looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Znicz Basket's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Adam Parzych (190-86, college: Bryant, agency: Promotex) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Wojciech Pisarczyk (201-88) who added 21 points during the contest. Four MOSiR Krosno players scored in double figures. Adam Linowski (201-87, agency: Promotex) responded with 8 points and 5 rebounds and Michal Aleksandrowicz (192-89) scored 9 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. MOSiR Krosno moved-up to second place, which they share with Kutno. Znicz Basket lost ninth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with 16 games lost. MOSiR Krosno will face AZS PP (#11) in Poznan in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Znicz Basket will play at home against Astoria Bydg. and hope to win that game.
