Rather predictable result in Jinjiang where tenth ranked Fujian (16-18) smashed 12th ranked Sichuan BW (14-20) 114-91 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Fujian. Sichuan BW was better in second period 27-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fujian forced 24 Sichuan BW turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. International Zhelin Wang (215-94) had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and American center Will McDonald (211-79, college: S.Florida) chipped in 28 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five Fujian players scored in double figures. At the losing side American D.J. White (206-86, college: Indiana) responded with 27 points and 6 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and Iranian center Hamed Haddadi (218-85) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fujian maintains tenth position with 16-18 record. Newly promoted Sichuan BW keeps the twelfth place with 20 games lost.
