The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Guandong Tigers (30-4) on the court of third ranked DongGuan Leopards on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by DongGuan Leopards 112-110. It ended at the same time the 15-game winning streak of Guandong Tigers. DongGuan Leopards made 25-of-32 free shots (78.1 percent) during the game. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Guandong Tigers' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. DongGuan Leopards (25-9) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain third position having five points less than leader Guangdong ST.
