There was a surprise result when eighth ranked Osaka Evessa (14-20) rolled over at home higher ranked Shiga L-Stars (17-17) 92-67 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 25 points. Osaka Evessa dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Shiga L-Stars' 32. Osaka Evessa forced 24 Shiga L-Stars turnovers. Shiga L-Stars were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court. point guard Kevin Galloway (200-88, college: Texas Southern) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals.
