A very close game took place in Ashkelon between Ironi Ashkelon and Ironi Kiryat Ata. Seventh ranked Ironi Ashkelon (10-9) got a very close home victory over 11th ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata (7-12). Ironi Ashkelon managed to escape with a 3-point win 98-95 on Tuesday evening. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ironi Ashkelon moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Kiryat Tivon. Ironi Kiryat Ata lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Elitzur Yavne. Ironi Ashkelon will meet at home higher ranked Ramat Hasharon (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ironi Kiryat Ata will play against Ironi Ramat Gan (#4) and hope to secure a win.
