There was an upset when higher ranked Aix-Maurienne (18-12) was defeated on the road by thirteenth ranked Boulazac Basket (13-17) 69-63 on Tuesday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 19-12. But Aix-Maurienne won second period 16-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Aix-Maurienne 37-25 including 30 on the defensive glass.
