The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tallinn: Kalev/Cramo (#2) and Tln Kalev (#6). Tln Kalev was crushed at home by 35 points 53-88 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The game without a history. Kalev/Cramo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Tln Kalev to just 7 points in third quarter. Kalev/Cramo made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game, while Tln Kalev only scored nine points from the stripe. Kalev/Cramo forced 26 Tln Kalev turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Kalev/Cramo especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. 32 personal fouls committed by Tln Kalev helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American point guard Devin Gibson (180-89, college: UTSA) who led his team to a victory with 15 points and 5 rebounds. International guard Rain Veideman (192-91) contributed with 14 points and 4 steals (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) for the winners. Four Kalev/Cramo players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Reimo Tamm (188-84) answered with 13 points and naturalized American forward Renato Lindmets (200-84, college: Westfield St.) added 7 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Tln Kalev. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains second place with 19-2 record behind leader TU/Rock. Tln Kalev at the other side keeps the sixth position with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
