Rather expected game when 8th ranked Valga (5-18) lost on the road to sixth ranked KK Parnu (10-9) 76-69 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 30-21 charge, which allowed them to win the game. KK Parnu outrebounded Valga 36-23 including 25 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for Serbian power forward Nemanja Miljkovic (204-90) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Rannar Raap (188-92) contributed with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American forward Ferg Myrick (198-91, college: New Hampshire) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds and Spanish point guard Miguel Ortega (188-91) added 15 points and 8 assists in the effort for Valga. Four Valga players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for KK Parnu. They moved-up to fifth place. Valga lost their third game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 18 games lost. KK Parnu will face league's leader TU/Rock in Tartu in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Valga will play on the road against Rapla (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
