Regular Season Round 19: PGE Turow - Rosa Radom 68-65

Sixth-ranked Rosa Radom (10-9) made lots of trouble for second ranked PGE Turow (15-4) in Zgorzelec on Friday. PGE Turow managed to secure only three-point victory 68-65. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Rosa Radom. Rosa Radom cut a 19-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. The former international power forward Damian Kulig (205-87) fired 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Tony Taylor (185-90, college: G.Washington) chipped in 16 points. American center Kirk Archibeque (205-84, college: Fort Lewis) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds and the former international Lukasz Majewski (198-82) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rosa Radom's coach Wojciech Kaminski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. PGE Turow have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain second place with 15-4 record behind leader Stelmet ZG, which they share with Trefl Sopot. Rosa Radom at the other side dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Energa Czarni. PGE Turow is looking forward to face Slask Wroclaw (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rosa Radom will play against Trefl Sopot (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
