Another exciting game for Clinicas Rincon (10-10) which played in Coruna against 4th placed Leyma Basquet (12-8). Eighth ranked Clinicas Rincon won 77-72. The guests were ahead by 4 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 21-15 run, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Ricardo Guillen (205-76) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 6 rebounds. Bosnian-Serbian forward Dejan Todorovic (196-94) helped adding 19 points. At the losing side American forward Jason Cain (208-85, college: Virginia) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Finnish Samuel Haanpaa (203-86) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Leyma Basquet players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Clinicas Rincon moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Cocinas.com. Leyma Basquet at the other side dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. Clinicas Rincon will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Leyma Basquet will play again at home against Clinicas Rincon (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
