There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Cieszyn (3-17) defeated at home higher ranked Slask 2 Wroclaw (9-10) 83-74 on Saturday. Slask 2 Wroclaw was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 7-point lead after three quarters before a 28-12 charge of Cieszyn, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Lukasz Kubik (201-92) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 9 rebounds and forward Leszek Siwy (196-83) who added 15 points during the contest. Maksym Kulon (190-93) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Jakub Niziol (198-96) scored 19 points. Slask 2 Wroclaw's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Cieszyn maintains eleventh position in Group B with 3-17 record. Slask 2 Wroclaw at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eighth place with ten games lost. Cieszyn will face Gimbasket Wroclaw (#12) at home in the next round.
