Regular Season Round 19: Prat - Castello 68-65

Important game to mention about took place in Prat. Sixth ranked Prat (11-7) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 7th ranked Castello (9-8) 68-65 on Saturday evening. Castello cut a 20-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Alberto Abalde (200-95) who helped to win the game recording 14 points. Center Victor Serrano (211-89) contributed with 8 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Alberto Ausina (203-81) answered with 24 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and point guard Joan Faner (176-90) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Castello. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Prat moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Avila. Castello at the other side keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Prat will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Castello will play at home against Fontedoso Carrefour (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
