Regular Season Round 39: Sendai 89ers - Niigata Albirex 93-90

The most exciting game of round 39 in the BJ League took place in Sendai. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Niigata Albirex (22-12) to eighth ranked Sendai 89ers (15-18) 93-90 on Saturday evening. Five Niigata Albirex players scored in double figures. Sendai 89ers maintains eighth place with 15-18 record. Niigata Albirex at the other side keeps the fifth position with 12 games lost. Sendai 89ers are again looking forward to face higher ranked Niigata Albirex (#5) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
