Very important is a road loss of third ranked Artego Bydg. (13-10) against fifth ranked AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski (12-10) on Saturday night. Visiting Artego Bydg. was defeated by AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski in a tough game in Gorzow Wlkp. 69-75. The game was dominated by American players. point guard Sharnee Zoll (170-86, college: Virginia) stepped up and scored 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and Taber Spani (182-91, college: Tennessee) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Amisha Carter (186-82, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Josep and Nicolas) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and guard Leah Metcalf (170-83, college: N.Carolina, agency: LBM Management) scored 19 points and 4 assists. Five AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski and four Artego Bydg. players scored in double figures. AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski maintains fifth place in Places 1-6 with 12-10 record. Loser Artego Bydg. dropped to the fourth position with ten games lost. AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski will meet at home league's second-placed CCC Polkowice in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
