The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked D-Fenders (19-13) in Los Angeles on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by fourth ranked Idaho Stampede (19-15) in overtime 129-128. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of D-Fenders. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 35-34 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 1-point victory in overtime. Idaho Stampede dominated down low during the game scoring 84 of its points in the paint compared to D-Fenders' 54 and made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Idaho Stampede looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Idaho Stampede made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Kevin Murphy (198-90, college: Tenn Tech) who helped to win the game recording 47 points (!!!) and 5 assists. point guard Dee Bost (188-89, college: Mississippi St.) contributed with a triple-double by scoring 12 points, 16 rebounds, 15 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Swingman Terrence Williams (198-87, college: Louisville) replied with 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and guard Josh Magette (185-89, college: Al.-Huntsville, agency: Pro One Sports) added 18 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists in the effort for D-Fenders. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Idaho Stampede moved-up to third place. D-Fenders at the other side still keep top position with 13 games lost. They share it with Reno B.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
