There was no surprise when 6th ranked Oita Heat Devils (15-21) were defeated on the road by fourth ranked Shiga L-Stars (19-17) 85-76 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 55-42 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Shiga L-Stars made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Marshall Brown (199-85, college: Missouri) fired 29 points and 4 assists for the winners.
