Very predictable result when fourth ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (12-8) won against at home 9th ranked GreenTops Netanya (6-13) 73-66. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But GreenTops Netanya won fourth quarter 16-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hapoel Tel-Aviv made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 GreenTops Netanya turnovers. Hapoel Tel-Aviv players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Justin Harper (208-89, college: Richmond) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 8 rebounds and guard Carlon Brown (195-89, college: Colorado) who added 13 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Hapoel Tel-Aviv players scored in double figures. Power forward Rashaun Freeman (206-84, college: Massachusetts) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Antoine Wright (201-84, college: Texas A&M) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Hapoel Tel-Aviv maintains fourth position with 12-8 record. GreenTops Netanya lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 13 games lost. Hapoel Tel-Aviv will play against higher ranked Maccabi Haifa (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. GreenTops Netanya will play against the league's second-placed Hapoel Jerusalem (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
