Regular Season Round 20: Vuelle Bsk PS - Sutor MGR 88-75
Date: February 23, 2014
Bottom-ranked VL Pesaro managed to get a fifth victory. This time they won against fifteenth-ranked Sutor Montegranaro 88-75. The game was mostly controlled by VL Pesaro. Sutor Montegranaro was better in fourth quarter 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward O.D. Anosike (203-91, college: Siena) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 7 rebounds and Canadian power forward Marc Trasolini (206-90, college: Santa Clara) who added 18 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four VL Pesaro players scored in double figures. American guard Josh Mayo (182-87, college: Ill.-Chicago, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) responded with 15 points and 5 rebounds and the former international guard Daniele Cinciarini (194-83) scored 15 points. Sutor Montegranaro's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. VL Pesaro maintains sixteenth position with 5-15 record. Sutor Montegranaro at the other side keeps the fifteenth place with 14 games lost. VL Pesaro will play against higher ranked Banco di Srd (#6) in Sassari in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Sutor Montegranaro will play at home against Montepaschi Siena (#4) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
