Regular Season Round 23: Upea CdO - Forli 75-67

Very predictable result when third ranked Upea CdO (16-7) won against 15th ranked Forli (7-15) in Capo d'Orlando 75-67 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Forli won fourth quarter 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Dominique Archie (200-87, college: S.Carolina) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Naturalized Croatian center Sandro Nicevic (210-76, agency: Beo Basket) accounted for 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. American power forward Tyler Cain (203-88, college: S.Dakota) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import point guard Jazzmarr Ferguson (185-89, college: IU Southeast) added 19 points respectively for Forli in the defeat. Five Forli players scored in double figures. Upea CdO moved-up to second place, which they share with PMS Torino. Forli lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 15 games lost. Upea CdO will meet Napoli Basket (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Forli will play against CZG Veroli and hope to secure a win.
