Very expected game in Mikawa where 10th ranked Shimane Magic (7-27) was defeated by second ranked Hamamatsu Phoenix (24-12) 83-69 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Hamamatsu Phoenix. Shimane Magic was better in fourth quarter 25-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hamamatsu Phoenix dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Shimane Magic's 32. The game was dominated by American players.
