Rather expected game when 10th ranked Orvieto (5-14) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked La Spezia (8-9) 72-62 on Sunday. American center Marie Malone (191-89, college: Hofstra, agency: Two Points) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Latvian power forward Lauma Reke (185-86, college: St.Peter's) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four La Spezia players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Aishah Sutherland (187-90, college: Kansas, agency: Two Points) with 4 points and 13 rebounds and her fellow American import swingman Darxia Morris (172-89, college: UCLA, agency: Merit Management Group) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds.
