The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 22-12. But Juvecaserta won second period 22-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lottomatica Roma made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Juvecaserta turnovers. Juvecaserta was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Bobby Jones (201-84, college: Washington) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Lottomatica Roma maintains fifth position with 12-8 record, which they share with Banco di Srd. Loser Juvecaserta keeps the ninth place with 11 games lost. Lottomatica Roma will face Granarolo BO (#13) in Bologna in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Juvecaserta will play at home against Air Avellino (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
