Very predictable result when sixth ranked Banco di Srd (12-8) rolled over on the road 12th ranked Cimberio Varese (8-12) 112-91 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Banco di Srd. Cimberio Varese was better in second period 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Banco di Srd shot 63.8 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 73.9 percentage. Banco di Srd looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Five Banco di Srd and four Cimberio Varese players scored in double figures. Banco di Srd moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Virtus RM. Loser Cimberio Varese dropped to the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Banco di Srd will face bottom-ranked VL Pesaro (#16) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Cimberio Varese will play against the league's second-placed Enel Brindisi (#2) and hope to win that game.
