Bottom-ranked Brasilia (0-13) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 85-58 loss to seventh ranked Rio Claro (2-11) in Brasilia. The game without a history. Rio Claro led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Rio Claro had a 32-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Center Barbara Bazilio (185-91) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Thaissa Frediani (166-89) supported her with 20 points and 5 rebounds.
