No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Hapoel Migd.H. (10-10) crushed bottom-ranked Beer Yaakov (4-16) in Tarshicha 84-59 on Tuesday. The game without a history. Hapoel Migd.H. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Beer Yaakov's 24 and made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Hapoel Migd.H. forced 19 Beer Yaakov turnovers and outrebounded them 49-34 including 34 on the defensive glass. Puerto Rican forward Gilberto Clavell (200-89, college: Sam Houston St., agency: KMG Sports Management) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). American swingman Darington Hobson (201-87, college: N.Mexico) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Hapoel Migd.H. players scored in double figures. American forward Justin Baker (203-89, college: Utah Valley) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Iftach Buchman (196-86) added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Beer Yaakov. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hapoel Migd.H. moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Kiryat Tivon. Beer Yaakov lost eleventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost.
