Second Stage Round 3: Elitzur Netanya - Hap.Petah Tikva 73-71

Elitzur Netanya used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Petah Tikva 73-71 on Wednesday night. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 17-14. But Hap.Petah Tikva won second period 20-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American point guard Amanda Houts (168-87, college: Georgia, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who scored 16 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). Guard Maya Isseroff (170-90) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. Five Elitzur Netanya players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Jasmine Thomas (170-91, college: Michigan St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points, 9 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals and the other American import guard Juanita Ward (180-86, college: Syracuse, agency: Merit Management Group) added 20 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
