There was an upset in Huskvarna where much higher ranked Helsingborg (5-3) was edged by ninth ranked Sanda Basket (1-7) 77-75 on Wednesday. Helsingborg was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. They outrebounded Helsingborg 44-33 including 16 on the offensive glass. Point guard Jordan Peltier (188-95) fired 25 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Guard Alexander Russom (191-95) chipped in 9 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Sanda Basket players scored in double figures. Sanda Basket's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Max Johansson (195-92) produced 28 points and 4 steals and guard Tanju Yulman (186-90) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Sanda Basket maintains ninth place with 1-7 record. Loser Helsingborg keeps the second position with three games lost. Sanda Basket's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Huskvarna to the arena Brahe Basket.
