Very predictable result when first ranked Groningen (23-4) won against on the road 7th ranked Leeuwarden (8-19) 81-64 on Saturday. The game without a history. Groningen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for swingman Jason Dourisseau (196-83, college: Nebraska) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Daniel Coleman (206-85, college: Minnesota) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Groningen's coach Ivica Skelin allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Stephen Lumpkins (203-90, college: American, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) replied with 14 points and 9 rebounds and forward Nathan Healy (201-90, college: Appalachian St.) added 20 points in the effort for Leeuwarden.
