Regular Season Round 21: UMKS Kielce - SKK Siedlce 88-80

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked SKK Siedlce (18-3) on the court of second ranked UMKS Kielce on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by UMKS Kielce 88-80. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of SKK Siedlce. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in Group C. The game without a history. UMKS Kielce led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. UMKS Kielce forced 19 SKK Siedlce turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Naturalized German power forward Alexander Machowski (205-91) stepped up and scored 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and power forward Jakub Dryjanski (202-82) chipped in 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. UMKS Kielce maintains second place in Group C with 16-5 record having just one point less than leader Legia, which they share with MKS Skierniew. SKK Siedlce at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. UMKS Kielce is looking forward to face Tur Bielsk Pdl. (#7) in Bielsk Podlaski in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. SKK Siedlce will play at home against Pulaski Warka (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
