Rather expected game when 6th ranked Pogon Prudnik (11-10) was crushed on the road by third ranked Alba Chorzow (15-6) 83-63 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Alba Chorzow. Pogon Prudnik was better in third quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Alba Chorzow made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. Alba Chorzow outrebounded Pogon Prudnik 42-31 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Pogon Prudnik was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Swingman Damian Tokarski (193-88) stepped up and scored 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and power forward Marcin Weselak (202-79) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds.
