No shocking result in a game when first ranked GKS Tychy (19-2) outleveled at home 5th ranked Sudety (12-9) 88-64 on Saturday. The game without a history. GKS Tychy led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. GKS Tychy forced 20 Sudety turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Point guard Radoslaw Basinski (188-78) stepped up and scored 11 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winners and power forward Tomasz Deja (200-83) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four GKS Tychy players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Michal Kozak (179-92) with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Jaroslaw Wilusz (200-85) scored 6 points and 9 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for GKS Tychy. They maintain first place in Group B with 19-2 record. Loser Sudety keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. GKS Tychy will face Gimbasket Wroclaw (#12) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Sudety will play against Mickiewicz (#9) and hope to win that game.
