NM1 top team - Monaco (21-2) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eighteenth ranked CFBB (0-24) 86-43. The game without a history. Monaco led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding CFBB to just 3 points in second quarter. Monaco made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 CFBB turnovers and outrebounded them 49-32 including a 37-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Monaco looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by CFBB's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of swingman Lambert Diacono (196-92) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and center Miguel Buval (207-90) who added 13 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. They maintain first position with 21-2 record. CFBB at the other side still closes the standings. Monaco are looking forward to face Pontoise (#15) in Cergy in the next round which should be another easy win for them. CFBB will play at home against Cognac BB and hopes to get finally their first victory.
