There was a small surprise in Warszawa where ninth ranked Polonia W-wa (8-12) smashed 6th ranked Trefl II Sopot (10-10) 75-51 on Saturday. The game without a history. Polonia W-wa led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Point guard Adrian Kordalski (185-95) stepped up and scored 11 points, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winners and Pawel Sieradzki (200-93) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. Polonia W-wa's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The best for the losing side was Lukasz Jaskiewicz (202-92) with 17 points and 5 rebounds and Wojciech Czerlonko (198-95) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Polonia W-wa moved-up to eighth place in Group A, which they share with SMS PZKosz. Loser Trefl II Sopot keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. Polonia W-wa will face Basket Pila (#11) on the road in the next round.
