Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Jopisa Burgos (10-8) defeated at home 9th ranked Mann Filter (7-11) 60-50. The game was mostly controlled by Jopisa Burgos. Mann Filter was better in second period 8-6. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Mann Filter to just 7 points in third quarter. Jopisa Burgos forced 20 Mann Filter turnovers. It was a good game for American forward Adaora Elonu (185-90, college: Texas A&M) who led her team to a victory with 20 points.
