Rather expected game in Anjo where 12th ranked Yamanashi QB (1-25) was defeated by ninth ranked Aishin Wings (7-19) 61-48 on Sunday. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Aishin Wings's pressure prevailed and they won that period 18-11 extending their advantage to 13 points. Aishin Wings outrebounded Yamanashi QB 48-25 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international center Hiromi Suwa (183-85) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Guard Koizumi Haruka (164-89) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Aishin Wings' coach Yamada Kagari used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Saori Kanehara (164-87) who recorded 22 points and 6 steals and Hatanaka Miho (177-85) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Aishin Wings maintains ninth place with 7-19 record. Yamanashi QB lost their thirteenth game in a row. They stay dead last with 25 lost games.
