Very predictable result when second ranked Enel Brindisi (15-6) smashed at home 12th ranked Cimberio Varese (8-13) 96-70. The game without a history. Enel Brindisi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Cimberio Varese's 24 and made 19-of-20 charity shots (95.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Cimberio Varese 42-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American-Guyanese forward Delroy James (203-87, college: Rhode Island) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line).
