The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked SKP Banska Bystrica's (14-18) home victory over 8th ranked Levice (6-26) 91-87. It looked good early as Levice took an 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then SKP Banska Bystrica had a 29-16 second period charge getting the lead and Levice was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 87-91. They outrebounded Levice 40-25 including 25 on the defensive glass. Levice was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Peter Dorazil (199-89) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 8 rebounds and international swingman Maros Rendla (195-88) who added 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. SKP Banska Bystrica's coach Lubomir Dousek allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American guard Brandon Lockhart (185-90, college: Drury) with 27 points and international power forward Maurizio Galata (203-92) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Five SKP Banska Bystrica and four Levice players scored in double figures. SKP Banska Bystrica moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Handlova. Levice lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 26 games lost.
