Eighth-ranked KFUM Jamtland (10-22) made lots of trouble for sixth ranked Solna Vikings (15-17) on Tuesday. The visitors from Solna managed to secure only one-point victory 68-67. However their fans expected easier game. KFUM Jamtland was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 12-8 charge of Solna Vikings, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Greek center Stavros Toutziarakis (210-87) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds. American forward Taj McCullough (201-86, college: Winthrop) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Brandon Peterson (204-90, college: Arkansas St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and forward Egal Saleman (199-88) added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Solna Vikings maintains sixth place with 15-17 record. KFUM Jamtland lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 22 games lost. Solna Vikings are looking forward to face higher ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (#3) in Norrkoping in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KFUM Jamtland will play on the road against Eco Orebro (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
