Regular Season Round 86: Tulsa 66ers - Erie Bay H. 103-107

Date: March 5, 2014
We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Tulsa where one of their biggest challengers 66ers (18-21) were defeated by fifth ranked Erie Bay Hawks (13-26) 107-103. 66ers were ahead by 10 points at the halftime before a 52-38 second half run of Erie Bay Hawks. Guard Scott Suggs (198-89, college: Washington) notched 26 points to lead the effort and power forward Solomon Jones (208-84, college: S.Florida, agency: Priority Sports) supported him with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Even 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists by guard Mustafa Shakur (190-84, college: Arizona) did not help to save the game for 66ers. Guard Xavier Alexander (198-88, college: S.Nazarene, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) added 8 points and 18 rebounds for the hosts. Five Erie Bay Hawks and four 66ers players scored in double figures. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
