Regular Season Round 20: Nantes - Lattes Montp. 68-64

The most important game in the last round took place in Nantes between second ranked Lattes Montpellier (17-3) and seventh ranked Nantes Reze (9-11) on Wednesday night. Lattes Montpellier was defeated by Nantes Reze in a tough game on the road 64-68. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Lattes Montpellier. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Lattes Montpellier won third quarter 20-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Sarah Michel (180-89) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 8 steals and Australian center Cayla Francis (192-89) who added 19 points during the contest. The former international forward Fatimatou Sacko (177-85) responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Geraldine Robert (183-80) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Nantes Reze moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Charleville. Lattes Montpellier at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Nantes Reze is looking forward to face Angers (#9) on the road in the next round. Lattes Montpellier will play against Toulouse (#12) and is hoping to win this game.
