Important game to mention about took place in Maracay. Fifth ranked Toros (8-6) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 7th ranked Guaros (6-8) 93-90 on Friday evening. The hosts were already 20 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 34-17 Guaros' run in the last quarter cut the lead to 93-90 at the end of the game. Guaros were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Anthony Laveal Johnson (203-88, college: Fairfield) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds.
