Regular Season Round 10: Homenetm. B - Al Riyadi 70-63

There was a change at the Division A leadership position after last games. Round 10 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Al Riyadi (8-2). They were defeated by eighth ranked Homenetm. B (3-7) 70-63 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Al Riyadi. Al Riyadi trailed by 19 points after 3 quarters before a 28-16 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 63-70 at the end of the game. Homenetm. B forced 20 Al Riyadi turnovers. American center Terrence Leather (204-81, college: S.Florida) scored 21 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Joseph Vogel (211-73, college: Colorado St.) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Egyptian power forward Ahmad Ismail (205-76) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Ali Haidar (201-90, college: Michigan Tech) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Homenetm. B moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Champville. Defending champion Al Riyadi still keeps top position with two games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Amchit who have the same record. Al Riyadi will play next round against Bejjeh trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Homenetm. B will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Champville in Dik El Mehdi.
