Not a big story in a game in Poznan where 12th ranked AZS PP (4-19) was rolled over by third ranked Kutno (18-6) 90-67. The game without a history. Kutno led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to AZS PP's 32. Kutno forced 26 AZS PP turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Hubert Mazur (191-84, agency: Promotex) who led the winners and scored 18 points. Guard Krzysztof Jakobczyk (182-86) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Four Kutno players scored in double figures. Tomasz Baszak (183-82) came up with 18 points and 4 assists and center Adam Metelski (206-83, college: Cal-Irvine) added 7 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively for AZS PP in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kutno have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 18-6 record having just one point less than leader SIDEn Torun. AZS PP lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 19 games lost. They share it with Spojnia and MCKiS Jaworz.. Kutno will play against Sokol Lancut (#5) at home in the next round. AZS PP will play against the league's leader SIDEn Torun (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
