Pays d'Aix (8-10) outlasted Reims (7-11) in overtime by twelve points 80-68 on Saturday night. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back winning two of next three quarters and won the game in overtime by 12 points. American forward Shenita Landry (188-87, college: Temple, agency: Two Points) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Guard Manon Cuomo (165-92) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists. American power forward Carolyn Davis (190-91, college: Kansas) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds and point guard Pauline Lithard (168-94) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Pays d'Aix moved-up to eighth place. Loser Reims dropped to the tenth position with 11 games lost. Pays d'Aix will meet league's second-placed Roche in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Reims will play against Dunkerque (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
