Regular Season Round 44: Okinawa GK - Shiga L-Stars 78-63

An interesting game for Okinawa GK (33-5) which hosted in Okinawa 4th ranked Shiga L-Stars (21-19). First ranked Okinawa GK had an easy win 78-63. The game was mostly controlled by Okinawa GK. Shiga L-Stars was better in second period 25-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and guard Ryuichi Kishimoto (176-90) who added 13 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. American guard Brandon Fields (193-88, college: Nevada) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Marshall Brown (199-85, college: Missouri) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Okinawa GK have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 33-5 record. Shiga L-Stars at the other side keep the fourth place with 19 games lost. Okinawa GK will play against Fukuoka Rizing (#5) on the road in the next round. Shiga L-Stars will play against Bambitious Nara and hope to get back on the winning track.
