The biggest surprise of round 22 was guest Hapoel Eilat's (#5) road victory over Ironi Nes-Ziona (#6) 67-56 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ironi Nes-Ziona. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 33-20 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Hapoel Eilat forced 24 Ironi Nes-Ziona turnovers. Strangely Ironi Nes-Ziona outrebounded Hapoel Eilat 45-28 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds.
