We should mention about the upset which took place in Ramat Hasharon, where higher ranked Ramat Hasharon (11-11) lost at home to twelfth ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata (9-13) 104-115. Ramat Hasharon was ahead by 11 points after three quarters before a 22-11 charge of Ironi Kiryat Ata, which allowed them to win the game. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. Ironi Kiryat Ata players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. American guard Jeremy Allen (193-88, college: FIU, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) notched 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and swingman Or Zinderman (188-89) supported him with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Five Ironi Kiryat Ata and four Ramat Hasharon players scored in double figures. Ironi Kiryat Ata moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Elitzur Yavne. Ramat Hasharon lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fifth position with 11 games lost. Ironi Kiryat Ata's next round opponent will be higher ranked Elitzur Ramla (#8) at home and it may be quite challenging game. Ramat Hasharon will play against Hapoel Migd.H. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
