Second Stage Round 8: Talje - Fryshuset 83-72

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Talje. Top-ranked Talje Knights faced 3rd ranked Fryshuset. Host Talje Knights (9-0) defeated guests from Stockholm (5-4) 83-72. The game was mostly controlled by Talje Knights. Fryshuset managed to win third quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Talje Knights looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was center Alexander Larsson (205-95) who scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Erik Johansson (194-96) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Four Talje Knights players scored in double figures. Talje Knights' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Felix Lemetti (-99) produced 23 points and Bruno Lira added 12 points respectively for the guests. Talje Knights have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-0 record. Fryshuset at the other side dropped to the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Boras II. Talje Knights are looking forward to face Eskilstuna (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Fryshuset will have a break next round.
