An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Solna. Third ranked Solna Branten faced second-ranked KFUM Uppsala. Host Solna Branten (5-2) defeated guests from Uppsala (6-2) 76-69. It looked good early as KFUM Uppsala took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Solna Branten had a 31-16 second period charge getting the lead and KFUM Uppsala was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-76. Solna Branten forced 21 KFUM Uppsala turnovers and outrebounded them 40-28 including 17 on the offensive glass. Forward Leo Lightner (187-96) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Michael Andraos (186-94) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Four Solna Branten players scored in double figures. Swingman Simon Ezra (197-94) replied with 15 points and 6 rebounds and guard Anes Zekovic (-95) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for KFUM Uppsala. KFUM Uppsala's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Solna Branten maintains third position with 5-2 record having thirteen points less than leader Talje. KFUM Uppsala at the other side still keeps top place with two games lost. They share the position with Taby. Solna Branten will play against KFUM Blackebergs (#4) in Vallingby in the next round. KFUM Uppsala will play at home against LF Future and hopes to get back on the winning track.
