The biggest surprise of round 4 was guest Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion's (#5) road victory over Bnot Hertzeliya (#6) 72-66 on Wednesday evening. The guests trailed by 17 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 6 points. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion outrebounded Bnot Hertzeliya 41-27 including 27 on the defensive glass. American point guard Alexis Gray-Lawson (173-87, college: California) fired 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. British-Nigerian power forward Toluwani Omotola (190-91, college: Liberty) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Five Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion players scored in double figures. American forward Jessica Breland (190-88, college: N.Carolina) produced 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks and her fellow American import guard Chelsea Hopkins (173-90, college: San Diego St.) added 20 points and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion maintains fifth position with 7-13 record. Bnot Hertzeliya lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth place with 14 games lost. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion are looking forward to face league's leader Elitzur Ramla at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Bnot Hertzeliya will play against Maccabi Ramat Hen (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
